Seize the moment
My youngest son said I must write about October snow...and how "irregular" it is. They were sledding while my impatiens were blooming! How crazy ...and how great they could just go with it...and make the best of the situation. No complaining about all the cancellations because its not going to change the situation. So they live in the present and enjoy the moments as the moments are happening. They built a ramp, a 7 foot snowball and a slick path to make the sled speed faster. To live actively in the present! With every sense engaged... We adults could learn a lot from those little runts.

This adult could learn a lesson cause all I did as I read the first sentence was hit with worry and concern about global warming and how bad it will be for your youngest son when he becomes an old man like me!
