Make Someone's Day Today.
My college age son got A's his first semester! yea! The day he got home for Christmas break, he wrote an email to his high school teacher telling him how helpful the class he taught had been in preparing him for college. I told my son, "That was a very nice thing for you to do... to let him know his teaching made a difference and was effective. I bet you made his day today." Just think if every one of us made someone happy today.. just by saying something nice and meaningful to them...what a cycle we could start in the world!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful boy you have raised! I think people should do things like this more often! I bet teachers really love getting messages like this and it makes their day (and year). My co-author is a teacher and I know she would love to get something like this.
ReplyDeleteA few year back I was reading a classic and sent a letter to a high school English teacher who I learned so much from letting him know how much he touched my life. I hope it made him happy!
