Rise And Shine!

Me  "Wake up! You' re alarm has been going off  for 20 min."
Teen-age kid  "What? Everyday that sound is a part of my dream.  I am becoming immune to alarm clocks."

  1. Many a morning I would totally ignore the clattering of my alarm. I guess I knew that Mom wouldn't let me be late to school. It got a lot harder after I was grown-up. I couldn't rely on the Big Guy the way I did on Mom. I haven't set an alarm since I retired! It's heavenly!!

  2. That's funny. My son can sleep through his alarm but I wake up when I hear mine. I never want to get up. Bed is so comforting. World is not so much. Have a great weekend. Doylene

  24. I AM my kids alarm clock. Just like clockwork, every morning at 6am I make my rounds to wake up every kid, making sure I head back to kid #1 because I know he wont get up the first time. I need to get them all alarm clocks!
