Thankful Friday

Maybe we go through trials so we realize our many blessings and learn perspective.  I am saying thank you with a grateful heart that my results were all negative.  I think I learned numerous things from this whole experience, like how important a kind, smart and caring medical staff is,  how my faith is my greatest gift,  how I take everyday life and health for granted and what immense value are relationships and the nonmaterial stuff of the world.   Happy Friday!  Count your blessings!!!!

    You mentioned on my blog you live in Pa. I too live in Pa. The garden you seen was from last year and I posted it just to have something rural. A candida blog doesn't have much rural going on.

    Re: Your comment in my blog... I don't *dig* "The Hunger Games" either. I'm a 75 year old Nana, who reads lots of Young Adult books, but would not be convinced to read those books. Can't get into dystopian lit. Too dark. Too violent. Too toooooo.... So I agree with you, on not having your kids see it.

    But I'd love to read the post you did, on this. Or have you taken it down, perhaps?

    You commented that the controversy, changed you. I'd be very interested, in knowing how. Since in my past blogging, I've been through a lot of controversy, myself. ,-) NOT now! Not in "Pretty Blog Land", where I blog now. :-)

    I burned out on controversy. It's too hard on my blood pressure. -grin-

    And btw, I read blogs, via my own way, so to speak. I don't use any Follower Places. I have a private blog, where I put the Blogger gadget, which shows when these blogs have new posts. I am the only one who can see this private blog. I don't list blogs I watch, on my public blog. So if I change my mind, and don't read a blog anymore, no feelings are hurt. :-)

  88. I like happy ending, the blog page adout your 17 year old daughter and boy friend was cute hope the kids did not go to jail. I read the page about the 14 year old son that put up the spring scene behind the school picturs, that was cute. I bought all of my kids school pictures and my Mother bought all of mine. My son has two of mine, black and white on his wall.
