My last 4 boys came int this world each weighing 7lbs 7oz. Pretty remarkable really, like a set weight point! Pretty remarkable too how much they are the same in so many other ways. I can count on each of them saying the exact same thing, "It wasn't me."
lol, so funny.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool how they weighed the same though.
hah, my son was borne weighting 7 lbs. 7 oz. as well...born on 4-4-99-we're taking him to vegas when he turns 21 :)
ReplyDeleteand yeah, all kids no matter what parents have that trait, 'it wasn't me' is born in them...
I bet they all like each other too.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
That's so funny and I doubt that many woman, if any, have given birth to four boys weighing the same thing! That might be one for the record books.
ReplyDeleteLOL, that sounds so typical of children but it's definitely not common for them each to weigh the exact same amount. That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteSO funny, I hear that a lot here also. That is pretty amazing they were the same size.
ReplyDeleteToo funny:) Gotta love 'em! Enjoy your evening, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteOh how funny! Gotta love boys :) Pretty amazing that they all weighed the same at birth!
ReplyDeleteThis is not like fishing ...You don't have to throw back anything under 7 lb 7 oz do you?
ReplyDeleteCranky Old Man
Funny!
ReplyDeleteHAHA - it never is - is it? sandie
ReplyDeleteIt is funny isn't it.My daughter was two weeks late. And after being in labor for four hours the Dr. decided that she was going to be a c-section.She was in no hurry and to this day my sweet daughter is always late and NEVER in a hurry. She is as slow as they come. She is in track now and has more of a jogging pace...that's my girl.
ReplyDeleteAnne
LOL That is funny! I'd like to know your technique for finding out who did it...
ReplyDeleteMy kids must ALL be related to YOUR KIDS! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteSo true.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Lol!! I believe your kids and mine must be related. :)
ReplyDelete<><
I think boys are programmed before birth to say that...they certainly don't need to be taught! Too funny...
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!
ReplyDeleteBoth of my kids said exactly the same thing!
ReplyDeleteI love your sense of humor...So funny and true, too..
ReplyDelete"It wasn't me" I know that one! that song when platinum in my house!
ReplyDelete:) Thanks for the follow foodhomeandgarden.com
hahahaha, my 8 year olds favorite things to say are " I forgot" or " I don't know why"
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! I know that one!!!
ReplyDeleteLol! Too funny. And so weird they were the same weight
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLOL SO TRUE....SO TRUE
ReplyDeleteHow strange that they were all the same weight! Interesting coincidence. Not sure their common phrase is a coincidence though... ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha :) Very funny!
DeleteGood one!
ReplyDeletelove it....
ReplyDeleteHow funny!! Boys will be boys, huh?
ReplyDeleteThose words "it wasn't me" is something all children say my girls would say it all the time and of course it was often followed by "it was her" yes they did like to blame each other none of this sticking together. I do think it was odd that they all weighed the same at birth
ReplyDeleteI love kid stories. They are the best.
ReplyDeleteThat is the advantage to a large family...always someone else to blame!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! Sounds like my boys.
ReplyDeleteThere's always someone else to point the finger at!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! Thanks for stopping by, I am now a follower too. :)
ReplyDeleteCute! The same weights, I wonder if this is very uncommon, such a coincidence.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny and adorable! :)
ReplyDeleteSweet, love the connection there!
ReplyDeleteahhahaa.. its so funny, sometimes me and my sis and bro do the same thing to my parents..ahahaha

Oh that is so neat! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post, and thanks for your visit and comment on mine.
ReplyDeleteMy son can't get away with that; he's an only child. But, dad gets the blame laid on him, then.
ReplyDeleteVery funny. "It wasn't me." Our son, as an only child, never got to say this.
ReplyDeleteI had one about that size... the others were bigger... quite a bit bigger. Weight didn't seem to matter when it came to blame.
ReplyDeleteLOL....best laugh of my day. thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow that is pretty remarkable! That was may favorite line as a kid :)
ReplyDeleteLynn
CARMEN VOGUE
haha i think that language is passed on to many...i have heard that just a bit...
ReplyDeleteThat's funny !!! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is really neat. Have you ever figured the odds on that? The reason I ask is my niece and all three of her kids were born on the 23rd (different months and unscheduled births) My brother knew of a statistician who figured out the odds like one in a gajillion (I obviously don't remember the exact odds!).
ReplyDeleteLOL, All but one of my children were born at around 5lbs. Great post sis! Have a bless day SiS!
ReplyDelete"It Wasn't Me" seems to be the standard answer for kids these days who suspect they are in trouble :-).
ReplyDeleteHaha funny! Thanks for following my blog. now following you too! =)
ReplyDeleteThat IS remarkable. Your body just discharged them at that specific weight. Fascinating.
ReplyDeleteAh yes the words "It Wasn't Me" are so common. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, it's cool, how did you get them all to weigh the same? LOL Great job, Mommy.
ReplyDeletemy mom said i was like 8lbs.
ReplyDeletebut my brother is law was like 12lbs! he's still bigger than most kids at 25. hahaha.
Ha ha isn't that all children's favorite phrase, "It wasn't me". LOL. "I didn't do it" even if you witnessed it.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty impressive!
ReplyDeletewow thats amazing!
ReplyDeleteWe have 5 children. Four of them are past 50 years of age. The baby is almost 40. Having said that I can truthfully say they would say in unison: "I don't know who did it."
ReplyDeleteWow amazing! <3<3
ReplyDeleteamazing! "It wasn't me" somehow is also a favorite of my hubby LOL
ReplyDeleteSpanish Pinay
Thanks for always making me smile.
ReplyDeleteGosh, you do like consistency don't you?!
ReplyDeleteJane x
What a coincidence!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW...that must be a record!:)
ReplyDeleteThe weight thing..I mean really what are the odds?! Ha-you know you would be rich if you had charged a quarter for every time that statement of "it wasn't me" was used. Thanks for stopping in and visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteAlso now following under GFC but unable to find you under Google +.
That is pretty insane!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you stopped by my blog today, I so do appreciate it. I am also glad you decided to follow my blog and now I am your newest follower. I weighted 7 pounds 8 ounces when I was born, must be a pretty common weight, but the exact same amount is pretty amazing. Richard from My Old Historic House.
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced that "It wasn't me" is closely related to "somebody" who lives in our home. It's just my wife and I but "somebody" is always leaving the lights on or not wiping off the kitchen counter or tracking something in from outdoors. I guess that "It wasn't me" tends to live in homes with children still in residence while "somebody" resides in every home with 2 or more residents! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
ReplyDelete"It wasn't me" is one of my husband's favorite lines! :)

What a coincidence! The closest I can come to that story is gaining the same amount of weight with both babies, 32 pounds. But my second baby weighed a full pound more than my first, so that's where the similarity ends.
ReplyDeleteThat's so crazy that they weighed the exact same amount!
ReplyDeleteI like to say -nothing is coincidence!:)

Jelena
That is so amazing that your boys were all the same weight! :-o
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and looking forward to reading your posts! Following you from Finally Friday...

Funny, and weird. Were your labors similar as well?
ReplyDeleteSounds to me like you musta placed a special order, and got it filled to a tee! (In quadruple!)
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's amazing! Funny post!
ReplyDelete:-)) How lucky your boys are to have other siblings as escapegoats.
ReplyDeleteSo do you get bonus points for consistency? I am only 2 in, but would like this...both mine were exactly 8 lb 0 oz, 21" long and head circumference 14". I'll take extra credit wherever I can find it...
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty interesting! Don't think I've ever heard of this happening to anyone else. My youngest son was born on his due date. I thought that was pretty cool (and I was very grateful)! :)
ReplyDeleteI think the "It wasn't me" is universal to most kids! LOL!
loving your blog.. this is funny!
ReplyDeletewonderful.... this made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteQuads...:)
ReplyDeletehahahaha....so funny! Right now my son point at each other, but I think pretty soon they will catch up with "it wasn't me" lol!
ReplyDeleteheeheeheee!!! Boys.. they are something else! ;)
ReplyDelete-Steph
my two boys are on opposite ends of the spectrum, but they can both be counted on saying "it wasn't me" lol
ReplyDeletebrett
That is pretty cool that they all weighed exactly the same! At least they say, "It wasn't me"- and they don't actually put the blame on someone who didn't do it. :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
And then they give you that wide-eyed innocent look like "What...?"
ReplyDeleteMy boy and my girl seven years apart weighed exactly the same...
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing, all 4 boys weighing exactly the same! How did you do that? (just kidding) Thanks for making me smile every day with your Posts..
ReplyDeleteRaquel
Wow, you really know how to precisely cook them! Thanks for following, following you back :)
ReplyDeleteIncredible!! Must be a sign ;)

Wow,that's quite a feat! I've never known anyone of giving birth to kids who weighed exactly the same. And just for that, your sons must be incredible!
ReplyDeleteStopping by to say Hello! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of that happening before re: your son's birth weights. It's a good tale to tell, if I was you I would weave that into plenty of convos. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am now following you too.
That's too funny! Boys! But that's pretty sweet they all had the same weight though.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! I have heard that one too!
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giggles too ;)
xoxo,
- Irina
Same birth weight, that's remarkable. In my household "not me" gets blamed for everything, lol!!
ReplyDeleteLol...famous last words of all children I think!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour last 4 boys sure give you a lot of headache and also a lot of laughters.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny......I've heard that from my kids too, but mostly from the girls!
ReplyDeletehahhaa that's really funny!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for passing by my blog! :)
2 of my boys both weighed 8# 4 oz, and one was 8# 2 oz. That's uncanny that you'd have 4 the same weight! My smallest baby was 7# 6 oz, and my largest was 9# 7 oz, both my girls.
ReplyDeleteLol, oh boys! So fun! That is awesome they weighed the same!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your sense of humor:)...aren't kids great?!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Rene'
My kids were all over the range. Everything from 2 lb 3 oz to 6 lbs 8 oz. Let's just say, after giving birth to baby that weighs only 2 lb 3 oz, giving birth to a baby that weighs 5 lbs 8 oz (my second child) was a shocker. I couldn't imagine giving birth to a child weighing more than 7 lb. Then I would have taken the drugs (not that 6 lb 8 oz was a breeze).
ReplyDeletewow, i can't believe they all weighed the same. how remarkable!!
