Wordless Wednesday

When they phoned the request for the cake the caller said I would like a cake with the words  Best wishes Suzanne written on it.   And then underneath those words write, We will miss you.

    For RJ "The Blonde"
    The cake should say "Best Wishes Suzanne" and underneath that say "We Will Miss You"

    I'm bald and never blonde so it isn't just you.

  30. Very literal indeed! It almost had me running to my dictionary (or rather, checking one of the online ones. When I'm on the computer I check the dictionary online, when I'm reading books, it's the one on the bookshelf...).

  39. I too had to read it a couple of times. What in the world was the person thinking when they wrote that on the cake--oh wait, they weren't. I don't think I've ever personally seen such a silly mistake.

  44. I worked in a bakery for 2 1/2 hours. Luckily we never did anything like this. But we did have some weird request from people.

  56. LOL! I remember one of the episode of Mel B's reality show when her husband ordered the cake for their daughter's graduation day. She was guiding him through the phone: write phoenix in the middle! and that's how the cake made with the writing: Congratulation Phoenix in The Middle
