How Sweet It Is

...that smile that happens when you put on a pair of shorts you haven't worn since last year and there inside the back pocket is a $20 bill.  Hope that happens to you this weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Now that would be a great thing~

  16. That happened to me once! One time, and we were so struggling financially at the time. You wouldn't think it but that $20 was such a blessing.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I thought you were going to say that the tag said size YAY!...but $20 bucks would make me happy too! I might spend a bit going through my old shorts today!

  23. Annmarie, To be honest, I'm happy whenever I even find a coin in a parking lot. A found $20, even in my own slacks, would be spectacular! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  24. I'm happy when I find quarters in the washing machine or dryer! I consider them my "tips." A $20 bill would be the ultimate tip. Do something good for yourself!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes, I've had that happen to me when pulling on a winter coat I haven't worn for a while - it's a great feeling :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. I couldn't agree more! I haven't had that happen very often but when it does it's a treat!

    ReplyDelete
  27. hey, you are $20.00 richer. sort of similar ... when you wonder why some money went & you know the pocket you thought you left them in & they have been through the wash & dryer & ... it is forever later & you look in the same pants & there for some odd reason is the money is magically there. but it was not earlier? odd!! too cool!! (:

    ReplyDelete
  28. YAY! that is so cool and it would never happen to me because I'm too paranoid about money falling out of my pockets so I never put it in there.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I thought sure you were going to say, you put your short on and they zipped:):) Now that would make me happier than a twenty dollar bill.LOL. Smiles, Susie

    ReplyDelete
  30. OK, now you've got me looking through my pockets!

    ReplyDelete
  31. lol, I agree with Susie above! Having last years pants fit would be so much better than money!

    ReplyDelete
  32. oh dang if it happened to you congrats...smiles....hope you have a great weekend!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Talk about being hit with a golden ray of sunshine, eh? I'd be happy to find a quarter. Heck, I'd be happy if I could still squeeze my backside into last year's shorts. And button 'em. And still breathe.

    ReplyDelete
  49. HAHAHAHA it almost did! Yesterdays shorts were changed early, cuz needed to wear something more proper as we were heading to a doctor appointment... and so put those shorts on today... and $4 wadded in the pocket. (GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!!) the bucks were from my son-in-law to square off a bill he felt he owed me. awh.

  50. I came across a $50 bill once when I was putting out Christmas decorations and happened upon the Christmas cards from the previous year. I ended up putting it in another Christmas card and anonymously left it on a co-worker's desk (she had been out of work for a while and was struggling financially).

  64. I swear, just 2 days ago I was pulling paper out of my purse and found a couple of bills. I exclaimed to my husband "Look, I found $2!" Then as I opened the folded bills, there was also a $20. "Look, I found $20 more! I didn't know I had this!"

It was almost like winning the lotto! I guess this must be the month for finding $20's!
