...that smile that happens when you put on a pair of shorts you haven't worn since last year and there inside the back pocket is a $20 bill. Hope that happens to you this weekend.
That's the BEST feeling ever!!! Stopping by from the blog hop! Am now a new follower:) Would love if you could follow me back! http://crazy-mama-drama.blogspot.com/ http://www.facebook.com/pages/Crazy-Mama-Drama/259491484156846 https://twitter.com/LoveMyMamaDrama
I thought you were going to say that the tag said size YAY!...but $20 bucks would make me happy too! I might spend a bit going through my old shorts today!
Annmarie, To be honest, I'm happy whenever I even find a coin in a parking lot. A found $20, even in my own slacks, would be spectacular! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
I'm happy when I find quarters in the washing machine or dryer! I consider them my "tips." A $20 bill would be the ultimate tip. Do something good for yourself!
hey, you are $20.00 richer. sort of similar ... when you wonder why some money went & you know the pocket you thought you left them in & they have been through the wash & dryer & ... it is forever later & you look in the same pants & there for some odd reason is the money is magically there. but it was not earlier? odd!! too cool!! (:
I thought sure you were going to say, you put your short on and they zipped:):) Now that would make me happier than a twenty dollar bill.LOL. Smiles, Susie
Talk about being hit with a golden ray of sunshine, eh? I'd be happy to find a quarter. Heck, I'd be happy if I could still squeeze my backside into last year's shorts. And button 'em. And still breathe.
HAHAHAHA it almost did! Yesterdays shorts were changed early, cuz needed to wear something more proper as we were heading to a doctor appointment... and so put those shorts on today... and $4 wadded in the pocket. (GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!!) the bucks were from my son-in-law to square off a bill he felt he owed me. awh.
I came across a $50 bill once when I was putting out Christmas decorations and happened upon the Christmas cards from the previous year. I ended up putting it in another Christmas card and anonymously left it on a co-worker's desk (she had been out of work for a while and was struggling financially).
I swear, just 2 days ago I was pulling paper out of my purse and found a couple of bills. I exclaimed to my husband "Look, I found $2!" Then as I opened the folded bills, there was also a $20. "Look, I found $20 more! I didn't know I had this!"
It was almost like winning the lotto! I guess this must be the month for finding $20's!
Love it! My family thinks I'm weird, but sometimes I put money in my winter coat pocket at the end of winter so that I can get excited the next year when I find it. :)
I just found five bucks in a pocket in my shorts. :) Love when that happens! My son really loves when I find money in his pockets when doing laundry! He better start checking them pockets! :)
I love finding money in the back pocket of my jeans. I don't wear shorts...so usually I don't go a whole season before finding it...usually after it goes through the was is when I find it. :) Thanks for visiting my blog! fortheirtenderhearts.com

ReplyDeleteYAY! that is so cool and it would never happen to me because I'm too paranoid about money falling out of my pockets so I never put it in there.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy spending it!
