Excellent. I was pumping gas Monday, for $3.44 a gallon. As I idly watched the overhead sign at the corner, the price went to $3.59. That tank better last awhile.
I look for all the discounts I can so I can help out the local food bank. Please remember to bring your extra food into your community center for those that are less fortunate. Most people have no idea about how many families and the elderly are without the basic needs in life because of illness or loss of a job.
When I read the initial part of your post I was thinking: "50 cans of tomatoes would last me the rest of my life! I can't imagine a discount large enough on ANYTHING that would make me buy 50 cans of tomatoes!!!"
I'm with Mellodee. 50 cans of tomatoes would be 40 cans too many. But I can't can them for that small amount so, buy them and give them away makes perfect sense. Or...the big ol spaghetti party is at your house. Tell us when to show up. I'll bring a salad.
When my boys were still at home, I used to can 150 qts. of tomatoes every summer, so 50 cans would be a nice start! We ate a LOT of things with tomatoes in them! Great photo for WW - thanks for linking up! That is an amazing savings!
Hi Annmarie! Delighted to meet you and I've added you to my following list, too! Seems we're in the same general region - I'm in Vineland in South Jersey and I gather you're somewhere in PA.
Love what you're sharing here - blessings!
You will love the new work I'm launching this year through my umbrella resource network for homeschoolers. Helping my friend to build her new couponing and frugal living website: MomEnomics. We're launching in two weeks!! She's the type who walks out of the store with a cart full of stuff paying only $2. Really! She buys in bulk for next to nothing and gives it away!!
We're very excited to get this off the ground. Hope you'll check back - there will be a link on my Writer's Reverie blog as well as my www.constellationacademyhsrn.blogspot.com site.
i always wonder how folks find such great deals but i guess there is a cost. enjoy your tomatoes. ha. ha!! i guess the positive is you can never have to many tomatoes. ha. ha!! (:
Holy cow....not only the amount of tomatoes...but the savings on this is just outstanding. I choked. Wondering now, just how long 50 cans of tomatoes would last for just the two of us.

I'll attach a blog that talked about it and walks you through how to change it, you'll see how much more feedback you'll end up getting because of it! Can't wait to look through your blog!
